03 / About the programme

IAmWITy helps girls and young women see technology as a pathway for themselves. The conference brings participants together with women working in ICT, combining career exposure with hands-on learning. YCDI's wider model links that first experience to mentorship and a continuing network of participants, alumnae and women in technology.

Conference: an annual summit aligned with International Girls in ICT Day. The planned format is one to two days, with mini-workshops and industry ideation challenges.

Mentorship: structured support and digital-skills development through the Women in IT Mentorship Programme.

Community: continuing connections with peers and role models beyond an individual event.
