Youth Can Do I.T. is a youth empowerment organization that is geared towards equipping and empowering youth with the right skills and tools needed to turn their dreams into reality.
YCDI seeks to equip people with the right skills and tools to turn their dreams into reality; changing their self-doubt into unshakable confidence, belief in themselves and believe they can be creators.
Our Story
Founded in 2016 in Kingston, Jamaica by Lianne McNaughton, YCDI was born out of the desire to use technology and self-actualization as the catalyst for capacity building among youth. Most importantly it enables them to become the change they wish to see in the world.
As a strengths-based organization, YCDI provides resources and training to help young men and women to identify their innate talents, unlock their fullest potential and focus on becoming the best version of themselves

Our Goal
Our goal is to impress upon the youth via workshops, hands-on and interactive learning initiatives that whatever they imagine can manifest into plausible careers or products.
It's important that they are equipped to provide solutions to problems they see around them. Most importantly, that they can become the change they wish to see in the world.
